The clean energy economy is strong in Illinois employing over 123,000 people, thanks to state policy like the Future Energy Jobs Act of 2016. But one barrier to growing this industry is recruiting and training workers. Fortunately, expanding workforce training programs are a focus of the Clean Energy Jobs Act that is currently in front of the Illinois General Assembly.
